Hello, I’m Michi,

the hands and heart behind Happy Little Cloud.

It all began in 2017, when I stitched a soft little cloud for my newborn, my fourth child. That simple, happy shape sparked something in me, and soon, Happy Little Cloud was born, both the name and the dream.

I live in beautiful North Yorkshire for over 12 years now. My hands and mind have always been creatively busy but designing and handcrafting nursery mobiles has become my truest joy. There’s something magical about working with tiny stitches, delicate shapes, and soft textures, turning simple materials into keepsakes filled with love.

Each piece I make is more than decoration. It’s a quiet celebration of new life, love, and memory.

Creating these mobiles has also become part of my own healing journey. After suddenly losing my beloved son Marlyn in 2024, this work has gently held me, a way to stay close to him, to honour our bond through beauty, purpose, and the comfort of creating.
